CORONAVIRUS AND QUARANTINE: SOLIDARITY AND TELEWORK

Due to the Coronavirus outbreak,
real estate agencies have been closed to the public since Monday, March 16.
At Olam Properties, in this unprecedented context, and in a responsible and supportive attitude, we took the decision to promote tele-working for our entire team and our agency is therefore closed until further notice.
Of course, all our team remains available remotely to advise and accompany you in this troubled period thanks to all the digital tools at our disposal (WhatsApp, Skype, email, Zoom Google Hangouts...) allowing us to ensure the continuity of our seasonal rental activity.
We take this opportunity to introduce to you Daria TOPADZE who joined us recently and who will have the (heavy) responsibility of all the digital communication of the agency.
We have adjusted our working habits, but our motivation to accompany you remains the same during this unprecedented crisis, and we are already preparing the recovery that we believe in. Here too, we will have to be adaptable and flexible when the borders reopen and the flow of international or French travelers, business or leisure, can start knocking on our (your) door again...
Already, many professional events that were to be held this spring in Cannes, Nice, Monaco... have been postponed or cancelled and in particular:
MIPIM, the real estate professionals' trade fair, initially scheduled from March 10 to 13, should be held next year.
The MIPTV, the TV and audiovisual program fair, which was to be held from 27 March to 1 April has been cancelled.
The Film Festival (11 to 23 May 2020) has been postponed, without the date of the postponement being known yet (end of June - beginning of July, without precision).
The festival of advertising and creativity, Cannes Lions Festival (provisional dates: June 22 to 26) will finally be held in 2021.

In addition to the economic aspect and the disastrous consequences on employment,
these cancellations and postponements generate more stress for all of us in the world of tourism and travel and so for our customers, most of whom are currently also stuck at home in the four corners of the world.
Some find themselves forced to cancel, others try to project themselves beyond the crisis period (mid May) to reschedule their arrival on the French Riviera once the storm has passed. Also, we are counting on your indulgence if our response time to your legitimate requests or queries is unusually long.
At the same time, we are already being approached by our historical partner AirBnb which, in a spirit of solidarity, is asking us if some of our apartments or accommodation can be made available to caretakers who are flocking in from all over the region to cope with the influx of sick people.
It is with pride that we have been able to respond positively to this request, thanks to the loyalty and trust of some of our owners, whom we thank warmly.
We are aware that these are uncertain times, but for people around the world, travel is a dream: when they are ready to travel again, we will be ready to serve them. So, to anticipate this recovery in which we believe, we have already chosen to revise both the cancellation conditions and the fares we will charge once the lockdown ends, a decision we do not take lightly.
